Hipobuy is the agent this site is built around, but a spreadsheet works with any live agent. Each card opens a page with that agent's status on 10 October 2026, its Trustpilot record and the terms we could confirm. The short answer on Hipobuy, with the evidence

Hipobuy's own help centre is unusually plain about money. It says the purchasing service is free, and that the total cost of an order is the item price plus the seller's domestic delivery to the warehouse, the international line you choose, and a customs declaration charge that is generally ¥10 per parcel. Its order-status page states 90 days of free storage once items are stored. Its returns page allows a return request within five days, or 120 hours, of an item being warehoused, at the cost of both shipping legs plus a ¥5 service fee, and only if the seller agrees. Its insurance page covers loss, damage and customs seizure, with claims due within 7 days of delivery or 45 days of dispatch.

The company behind it is named too. Hipobuy's About page says the Hipo purchasing platform started in 2019 and moved to the Hipobuy model in 2024, and lists four operating companies in Hong Kong, the UK and the British Virgin Islands. Search interest in Europe only took off in 2025, which is why many buyers think of it as a new agent.

Hipobuy publishes clearer terms than many agents, and it was trading normally when we checked.

What the withdrawn Trustpilot score means

Here is the uncomfortable part. Trustpilot shows no score for Hipobuy. The page says the rating is unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines and carries a warning about fabricated reviews. That label is applied when Trustpilot finds a company collecting or filtering reviews in ways its rules forbid. It is not a judgement on whether parcels arrive, but it does mean the high star count you might see quoted elsewhere cannot be trusted as a measure.

The reviews themselves stay visible. Of 764, 719 arrived in the past twelve months. The newest when we checked, from 9 October 2026, was five stars about low shipping prices. The recent negative ones are specific: an £80 shipping charge without useful tracking updates, a refund after cancellation that had not arrived, a parcel marked for return without the buyer asking, and an American buyer locked out of an account after paying about $200 for shipping. Those are the risks to plan for.

What a Hipobuy spreadsheet is and how to use one

A Hipobuy spreadsheet is a list of products from Taobao, Weidian and 1688 with links formatted for Hipobuy. You open a row, Hipobuy shows the product with a translated title and price, you pay, and Hipobuy buys it from the Chinese seller. When it arrives in Hipobuy's warehouse you get inspection results and photos, then you combine items into one parcel and choose a line. The same rows can be opened on other agents because the product underneath is the same.

The search 'spreadsheet hipobuy' with the words reversed, and misspellings such as 'hipobuy spreedsheet', which alone gets around 320 searches a month in Spain, all mean the same thing. Strengths you can verify

Three things stand out. First, the fee model is simple and written down: no agent service fee, a small declaration charge. Second, Hipobuy's homepage advertises a Rehearsal Parcel feature, which lets you see a parcel's packed weight and estimated cost before committing, and a shipping-fee bonus raised to 4 to 8 percent. Third, the inspection step: Hipobuy says it checks every item on arrival and reports the result before you ship, and recent five-star reviews mention items matching their inspection images.

What Hipobuy does not publish is a fixed number of free QC photos, something USFans (3 to 5) and Sugargoo (5) both print on their homepages. Ask for extra angles when a detail matters; our Hipobuy QC guide lists the shots worth requesting.

Costs for buyers in Germany, France and Spain

Most Hipobuy searches come from Germany and France, roughly 18,100 a month each in our keyword data, then Spain at about 12,100, with Belgium and the US behind. All three EU markets charge import VAT from the first euro: 19% in Germany, 20% in France, 21% in Spain and Belgium. Since 1 July 2026 parcels worth up to €150 sent under the IOSS scheme also pay a flat €3 customs duty for each different tariff category inside. Three T-shirts are one category; a T-shirt, a cap and a pair of trainers are three, so €9.

Plan the parcel before buying the goods; the EU duty now punishes scattered orders.

How we would start with Hipobuy

1. Open an account on hipobuy.com, typing the address yourself.
2. Pick two or three items from the grid above or a Hipobuy finds list, ideally in one or two categories.
3. Pay by a method that allows disputes, and top up no more than the order needs.
4. Check the inspection photos within the 5-day return window.
5. Use Rehearsal Parcel to see the weight, then choose a line that includes EU VAT and duty.
6. Keep order numbers and screenshots until the parcel is delivered.
