Why Pandabuy sheets keep turning up

Pandabuy was the default agent for a huge wave of spreadsheet buyers before police raided its operation in April 2024. It never reopened. Its sheets were copied and reposted so widely that they still circulate, with links that now go nowhere. Our keyword file still shows about 18,100 monthly US searches for the name.

Part of that interest comes from people who found an old sheet on a forum or video and do not know the agent is gone. If that is how you arrived here, nothing in the sheet is lost: every row describes a Taobao or Weidian product, and those can be opened through Hipobuy or any agent on our status list once you rebuild the link.

What an old sheet is still good for

An old sheet is a list of products, and many sellers are still trading. Rebuild a link, open it on a working agent, and check whether the listing is live and the price current; two-year-old prices often changed.

Rebuilding a Pandabuy spreadsheet for a working agent

1. Open the sheet and look at one Pandabuy link: find the long number after id= or itemID=, and note whether it says Taobao, Weidian or 1688.
2. Rebuild the marketplace link: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=NUMBER or https://weidian.com/item.html?itemID=NUMBER.
3. Paste it into Hipobuy or another working agent and confirm the listing still exists.
4. Save the rebuilt link in a new column so the next shutdown cannot break the row again.

Choosing a replacement for Pandabuy

Pick by market. German and French buyers have the most choice: Hipobuy, Kakobuy and Oopbuy all draw large audiences there. Spanish buyers lean towards Hipobuy and USFans. If storage time matters, Sugargoo (100 days) and Basetao (120 days) beat the 90-day norm. Money and parcels still tied to Pandabuy

Parcels already handed to a carrier keep moving whatever happens to the agent's website; track them with the carrier's own number. Items paid for but still in the warehouse are the hard case. Write to every support address Pandabuy published, attach order numbers and screenshots, and keep a record of each attempt. If the payment was recent and made by card or PayPal, start a dispute before the window closes.

Do not pay anyone who contacts you offering to recover Pandabuy funds for a fee; recovery scams follow every agent closure.

Avoiding Pandabuy copycats

When an agent closes, look-alike domains and 'relaunch' pages appear, often with a slightly different spelling. Do not log in with your old Pandabuy password anywhere, and change that password wherever else you used it. Official news about balances would come from the original domain or the support email on it, not from a social media direct message.

Treat any site that asks you to top up to 'unlock' an old Pandabuy balance as a scam.

Lessons from the Pandabuy closure

Every agent shutdown repeats the same pattern: buyers with balances lose the most, buyers with raw marketplace links lose the least. Keep balances low, ship parcels when they are ready, and store the Taobao or Weidian link next to every agent link in your sheet. With those three habits, moving away from any agent, including Hipobuy, takes an afternoon rather than a crisis.
