Its lines, payment methods and community are tuned for Brazilian buyers, who since May 2026 face different tax rules on small parcels than Europeans do. For a buyer in Berlin or Paris, the benefit is unclear unless a specific item or coupon draws you in.

Using Hubbuy with a sheet built for Hipobuy

Nothing in a spreadsheet locks you to one agent. A worked France example for a Hubbuy parcel

Say you buy two hoodies through Hubbuy for €60 in total and pick a line that quotes €25 for the parcel. France charges 20% import VAT on goods plus transport, about €17.00. Since 1 July 2026 the EU also charges a flat €3 customs duty for each different tariff category in parcels up to €150 sent under IOSS; this basket has 1 category, so €3. Landed cost: roughly €105.00, before any carrier handling fee.

Hipobuy or Hubbuy? The terms side by side

Where Hubbuy publishes a number and Hipobuy does not, such as a fixed count of QC photos, that is a point in Hubbuy's favour for careful buyers. Where Hipobuy is clearer, for example its written five-day return window after warehousing, it gives you a firm deadline to act on photos. Neither agent's terms replace the parcel quote, which is where most of the real difference between agents shows up.

A short checklist for Hubbuy buyers

Start with the money side: top up only what you need for the current order, and pay by a method that lets you dispute a charge. Then the item side: compare the QC photos with the listing, measure garments against the size chart, and ask for an exchange before the return window closes. Finally the parcel side: choose a line that shows the tracking handover to your local carrier, and keep the parcel weight within the band you were quoted.

None of this is specific to Hubbuy, which is the point: the same habits protect you on any agent.

Delivery times you can expect from Hubbuy

Count the whole chain, not just the line: three to five days for the seller to reach the warehouse, a day or two for photos, the time you take to approve, packing, then transit. Tax-included EU lines commonly take ten to twenty days in transit; postal lines longer. Peaks around November and Chinese New Year add a week or more. If you need something by a date, add a week to the line's estimate.

Hipobuy's order status page uses the same chain, from 'Ordered' to 'Shipped (Local)' to 'Stored', so the steps look familiar on any agent.

Paying Hubbuy safely

Use a card or PayPal rather than a bank transfer or crypto where you can, so a payment dispute stays possible if an order stalls. Keep the account balance close to zero between orders: a balance is money you have handed over without a product attached. If Hubbuy offers a coupon that requires a large top-up, compare the saving with the risk of leaving that money parked.

Write down order numbers and dates. If you ever need support or a dispute, a simple timeline makes the case much faster.
