Litbuy's storage rule is the one to note

Most agents give a single storage number. Litbuy splits it: items can wait up to 120 days, but only the first 90 are free. That extra month helps if you are slowly filling a parcel to cross a coupon threshold or to wait for a size restock, as long as you accept a fee for the overflow. Litbuy's other headline terms are a 0% markup on purchases, free QC and inspection photos, and a stack of shipping coupons for new accounts.

Germany is Litbuy's largest market by searches, about 22,200 a month in our keyword file, which puts it in the same region as Hipobuy.

Trustpilot and the rumour mill

Trustpilot does not show a score for Litbuy; its 587 reviews are visible, nearly all from the past year, which matches a young agent growing quickly. In June 2026 a shutdown rumour spread; rep.tools checked and found Litbuy operating, and our own probe on 10 October found the same. Recent negative reviews centre on refunds after cancelled orders, and Litbuy replies publicly asking for tickets.

What a Litbuy parcel costs in Germany after July 2026

Say you buy trainers, a hoodie and sunglasses through Litbuy for €110 in total and pick a line that quotes €26 for the parcel. Germany charges 19% import VAT on goods plus transport, about €25.84. Since 1 July 2026 the EU also charges a flat €3 customs duty for each different tariff category in parcels up to €150 sent under IOSS; this basket has 3 categories, so €9. Landed cost: roughly €170.84, before any carrier handling fee.

Litbuy next to Hipobuy

Hipobuy's help centre states a free purchasing service: you pay the item, Chinese domestic delivery, the international line and a customs declaration charge of about ¥10 per parcel. Returns are possible within five days of an item reaching the warehouse, at the cost of both shipping legs plus ¥5. Set those against Litbuy's terms above and the difference usually comes down to storage time, photo count and the line price for your country.

Questions worth asking Litbuy support

Ask which lines to your country include import VAT and the €3 category duty in the price, and which leave them to be paid on delivery. Ask how long items usually take from 'arrived' to 'photos available'. Ask whether parcel insurance covers customs seizure as well as loss. The answers, and how quickly they come, are a good test of whether Litbuy suits you.

Litbuy lines for Germany, France and Spain

Look for three things on each line Litbuy offers: whether import VAT and duty are included, whether tracking continues once the parcel reaches the local carrier (DHL or Deutsche Post in Germany, La Poste or Colissimo in France, Correos or a courier in Spain), and the weight band you are paying for. A line that hands over to the national post usually gives the smoothest delivery; private couriers can be faster but sometimes ask for clearance fees.

Write down the line name with the parcel number. If something goes wrong, support will ask for both.

A short checklist for Litbuy buyers

Start with the money side: top up only what you need for the current order, and pay by a method that lets you dispute a charge. Then the item side: compare the QC photos with the listing, measure garments against the size chart, and ask for an exchange before the return window closes. Finally the parcel side: choose a line that shows the tracking handover to your local carrier, and keep the parcel weight within the band you were quoted.
